Oraquick reliability at 26 weeks

Hello,

26 weeks ago I had unprotected vaginal sex (insertive) with an unknown female.

I took an oraquick saliva test this week and came back negative.

I read online that there is an 8% chance of false negative. Does anyone know if being far from the 12-week window period increases accuracy?

Also, 15 mins before the test I mistakenly swallowed a tiny bit of water (literally a sip before realizing it and stopping).
Would that make my results invalid?

I don't know where you read about the 8% false negative rate, but that isn't accurate.  Oraquick is highly reliable when taken any time 90 days or more after the event.

I have no idea what the instructions state to do.  If you have questions about the process and whether a sip of water invalidates the result (unlikely), call the manufacturer.
