HIV help needed

Hi,

around 4 weeks ago I had sex with a prostitute(from africa) the condom broke (I dont know whether this happened during intercourse or if the prostitute broke it as I had a scratch mark on the top of my penis (this healed after 4 days and was not sore), I have been tested for std's and it has come back clear twice (good news) so now I am worrying sick about HIV, I go for a test within the next week however reading through the symptoms I have not had headaches or a rash, but I did have a cold for 2 days and had a couple of sores in my mouth however one of them i got from accidently biting myself and am now worrying about my lymph nodes in my neck, they are not sore to touch neither are the ones in my armpits or groin however I have had pains that king of shoot up the back of my head and cheeks and a sore neck for the past 2-3 days

1) Is this a symptom or is it the constant worrying and I am causing this myself
2) would I have all my lymph nodes hurting?
3)is this just the start and it gradually gets worse

any help that could maybe calm my fears would help

thanks for the comment Lizzie,

I am mainly worrying about the nodes, would they be painful to touch and also how big are the nodes in your neck normally?

I have a kind of dull ache in the ones in my neck but I think that may be from constantly feeling to see if they feel like they have swollen?

IF someone has symptoms of ARS...they would come at 2-4 weeks after infection and last for 1-2 weeks.  not everyone experiences symptoms.

having unprotected sex put you at risk...and you need to test.  a test done at 6-8 weeks after will give you a good indication of your status...but follow that up at 3 months for a conclusive result.
