Possiblity of contracting HIV?

Hi, I had unprotected, heterosexual sex once. He did no ejaculate in me, yes I know there is pre.  It has been 4 weeks since.  I had two different STD tests two weeks after, both came back negative.  I made him get an HIV test and it came back negative (last unproteted sex for him was in mid-May).  I did a rapid HIV test at 4 weeks and it came back negative.
What are the statistics/risk of me contracting HIV from him?
How accurate are the HIV tests at 4 weeks?

About two weeks after, I did get sick.  I had a sore throat and swollen glands.  My family doctor thought it was a bad sinus infection..and I had antibiotics that took care of it in a a few days.

Hi there,

Firstly, yours is not HIV (ARS) specific.

ARS also known as Acute (Primary) HIV Infection.  This occurs soon after contracting HIV(normally 2 weeks to 4 weeks), and is a flu-like illness with swollen lymph nodes, fever, malaise and rash lasting about 2 to 3 weeks.

Hi there,

Your 4th week result is encouraging.  However, not conculsive.  You will need to test at 12th weeks for a conclusive result.  I think the result is unlikely to change.

By the way, your symptoms are not HIV(ARS) specific.

Cheers!
