False negative pcr

I had oral sex by a woman I did not know. My doctor told me to do a pcr test. I had it done only 6 days after possible infection. The result was <47 viral charge, my doctor tells me not to worry that I did not get HIV, but I worry since it was only 6 days after possible infection the result might be a false negative. I asked him about that and he insists not to worry.

You should listen to your doctor, he can advise you better for your situation than anyone on here.

a pcr after 14 days would be conclusive

WRONG!!!!!  QUIT POSTING INCORRECT INFORMATION ON THIS FORUM!!

There is NO test that is marketed to give a conclusive result before 3 months.

Oral sex is not a risk for HIV, you never needed testing in the first place.  If you HAD had a risk, your test would have been entirely too early.  3 months post exposure is when you could get a conclusive result.

Again, you had no risk and do not need testing.
