Teak, please advice

Hi Teak,

I have few questions on HIV transmission. Could you pls clarify those:-

1. last week I steeped on a used needle and it got poked . What is the chance of infection.?
2. How quickly hiv dies in air? I dont know I long before it was used. But if I stepped on immediately after his use, wont I get infected?

I am very scared..

1. Zero for HIV
2. It doesn't die it was never alive. It is either active or inactive and once outside the host it's immediately inactive.

Thanks. But making me worried is that if needle got poked immediately within few seconds? Wouldn't that be a concern?

It's a concern if you take the syringe straight from the user and "INJECT" it's contents into your vein.
