Advice

Dear Lizzie/teak/nursegirl,
it is about an incident that happened few days back. I met a CSW in a bar in india. i didnt had any intention of sex with her and i abstained. But i touched bare privates ( no fingering ). Then i masturbated with my own hands. Meaning there was no mutual masturbation. She just put her trousers back after i touched.
I spoke to a doctor and he told me thats not how infection takes place. But i had sore throat for three days few days back ( its fine now) and now i am having diarrhoea....i am worried. going through the posts i feel that it could be due to anxiety also. Please help

Dear Teak, Thanks a lot for answering. Hats off to you guys!
One more thing which i want to know for my own knowledge.....
1) So even if vaginal fluids containing some blood comes in contact with penis "outside" the host..the infection wont occur as virus dies immediately as it leaves the host. Everything has to take place inside the body for any infection to take place?
2) Another thing that bothers me is i had undergone a small skin procedure 4 years back . There is a scar which is left. Meaning skin covering is there and it is intact as such. No bleeding. So can it act as place for transmission?
3) I am monogamous and abstains from any sexual contact outside my live in partner. So can i continue living normally with her?
Thank you and may god bless you!

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
