You do not have an HIV concern.
Thank you for your response. Can you tell me if people ever cite this kind of inner thigh pain as a symptom of ARS?
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child
You never had an exposure so your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.
It's been 3.5 weeks since my exposure and I am having a lot of neck pain, pain/pressure in my ears, dizzyness, and fever. I realize that these symptoms can probably be attributed to an ear infection, but I feel like since ear infections are not common in adults and that it's happening right within the time ARS symptoms would show up, that it might be too much of a coincidence. I also finished a round of antibiotics about a week ago, which would make an ear infection unlikely also. I know my exposure was low risk, but I can't help worrying that I may be one of those rare cases where HIV was transmitted in a non-traditional way. I'm sorry to be posting again, but do you think these symptoms could be ARS-related? Thanks for any response.
Sorry, I forgot to put who my question was directed to.

I should also note that one of the lymph nodes in my neck is swollen.
Thanks
Reread the replies given. You did not have an exposure. If you are concerned about your symptoms see your doctor they are not HIV related.
Thank you for answering my questions. I am just really scared, particularly now about this swollen, hard lymph node on my neck. I don't usually get sick, and now within the ARS period I've been having these symptoms come up. I know you said I had no risk, but I've read elsewhere that my situation is low risk. Last question, I promise: do you think this swollen, hard lymph node near my throat could be HIV related?
No, you never had an exposure.
