Before I even post my story; I have suffered from HIV anxiety previously. When I was 19 I lost my virginity and believed I had HIV, getting all sorts of symptoms. That was about 4 years ago, and only had about 2 instances since then which has brought the panic/anxiety back.
I had a filling 4 weeks ago so went to the dentists. The dentist injected me with a needle to numb my mouth, didn't work, so used another one. 2 days after leaving the dentist I came down with fever/weakness/cold symptoms which lasted 8 days, then i suffered from mouth ulcers, and now my neck feels swollen, but tingling down my right hand side of the body seems to be predominant.
Is it irrational to believe the UK NHS needles weren't safe? that the dentist maybe had used it on a previous symptom? I keep telling myself it is almost impossible....yet there's something inside that keeps me thinking about these symptoms...and what else could it be -__-
Help. Need therapy or something.
