You never had an exposure.
Even the penis inadvertently brushed against her vagina or bladder? I am also concerned that her tooth fillings and color of teeth were indicative of poor mouth hygine and that she could have touched my lips with her tounge. The symptoms I am having are just scaring me and I feel so much guilt for what I have done!
You never had a risk also take the time to learn anatomy. Brushed against the bladder?
You are right...I should have said groin...But Thank you for your reassuring response. What do you think all these symptoms were then?
See your doctor if your symptoms concern you.
I am surprised that you don't think that if I am thinking her vaginal fluids moght have come into brief contact with the penis that would not be a huge risk..Am I missing something about HIV? I tried very hard to stay away from any fluids.
Am I missing something about HIV? YES, Education
You had no risk, HIV is inactive and unable to infect once exposed to air.
So, if the penis brushed against the vagina there would be no risk the virus getting in through the urethera?
Took a PCR test today and also a screening test at 4 1/2 weeks. We will see what comes out of it. How accurate is the PCR? Is the ELISA any good at 4 1/2 weeks?
You have a comprehension problem? You never had a risk.
Thank you Teak
I am worried. I remembered brushing my teeth just before the kissing activity - and I know her tounge touched my tounge for a few seconds. The symptoms I had and the dark patches of skin under the arm pits are concerning me (Is this a symptom of early infection?). I also started developing symptoms of pain in the groin area and burning sensation when urinating (are these symptoms of early infection?). I am very concerned and anxious. I keep trying to remember if there was any contact between the urethera and the vagianl fluids - there was no penetration but it could have been a brief moment of brushing against the vaginal opening on the outside - I know I had my clothes on most of the time. Could I have irritated the skin of the penis by masturbation and that touched her vagina later? I am just very very confused and worried. I hear everyone saying no risk or low risk but I have been having all these other symptoms and I am not sure what they are from. Doctor gave me antibiotics for some bacteria they found on my throat but there is no UTI that would cause the burining sensation on the penis and the bladder/testicle pain I had for the last two weeks.
I am not sure of how accurate the PCR is and whether it has false positives? I am awaiting the results but they told me it takes two weeks for the PCR result. I will know the ELISA result on Monday - but that is too early to be conclusive.
You have nothing to worry about!! Get tested anyway because you should get tested atleast twice a year
It's annually if you have put yourself at risk.
