HIV, HPV, STD or Overthinking?

I am an 18 year old heterosexual. About 9 months ago I had unprotected oral sex with a guy. There was no ejaculation or noticeable precum. 2 months after this I had mutual masterbation with a guy. After these two encounters I had no symptoms at all. About 5 months ago I started dating my boyfriend. He has never had a sexual partner other than me. We have had unprotected oral sex with ejaculation and we have had a lot of protected sex. I recently (3 months ago) had a yeast infection and was tested for STDs with a vaginal swab, throat swab and visual testing. I came back clean and negative. Once again now I am experience vaginal itching and a few small, flesh coloured bumps at the opening of my vagina. I have had swollen lymph glands for a month, but my doctor sent me for a blood test and says there is no concern. Should I be concerned?

Re-read my replies above and in your earlier thread. Asking the same question in different words won't get a different answer!

It would appear you are far more concerned about STDs than normal. I'm wondering whether you have been exposed to inflated, frightening versions of health education in school or elsewhere.

So I do not have a risk for STDs, HPV, or HIV??

As discussed in your thread on the STD forum 10 days ago, you are not at risk for STDs based on your sexual history and that of your main partner. That includes HIV. And the STD tests are very accurate, further confirming you don't have any of the ones for which tests were done.

The only slight wrinkle is that if your current partner has oral herpes, you could have acquired genital HSV1 by oral sex, which sometimes can cause symptoms similar to vaginal yeast infections; and herpes can cause inflamed lymph nodes in the groin, but yeast usually does not. But herpes would not cause "flesh coloured bumps". Most likely it isn't herpes, but maybe that's what the blood test was for (??).

This and the STD forum are community forums with mostly nonprofessional volunteers. You are likely to get better advice on all this from the doctor you are seeing. But for sure there is no reason for you to be at all concerned about HIV.
