HIV Home Access Test

Hello everyone.  Judging by my name on here, you should be able to see that I learned a good lesson from a very stupid mistake I made.  Anyway, maybe I just need reassurance but this has been VERY hard on me. I appreciate any kind replies I receive.

I took one HIV Home Access blood test about 7 months after possible exposure.  Negative results returned.

About 18 months later I felt the need to take one more, just to be sure after experiencing HIV described symptoms.  Negative results returned.

I know they say the tests are something like 99.5% accurate after the window period is over (which I was past for both tests) but has anyone ever heard of having two tests return with the wrong results?  Maybe I am overly worried, but I just need to close this chapter in my life and move on.

Thanks for your time.
