HIV Possible From Environment?

Hi. I just want to confirm what I’ve read on these forums. HIV is not transmitted on inanimate surfaces or superficial cuts from object in the environment. Does this apply to Sharp objects that may have caused deep cuts and are contaminated with HIV+ blood and gain access to the bloodstream?

Nothing has changed in terms of risks since your last posts. The only risks for HIV are to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV needles to INJECT drugs. Air inactivates the virus. So, anything sharp poking someone or cutting someone will not result in HIV. Whatever was on the object prior to that would be inactive.

Thank you I appreciate it. Just wondered about it, as there has been some reports of medical professionals getting HIV very rarely from cuts by sharp instruments. Which obviously are exposed to air as well
As explained before, but not explicitly stated, you are basically googling for death. The first step to peace is to stop googling cold turkey, since you presently google until you find someone, somewhere, who tells you that you can die from whatever you can think of.
"I just want to confirm what I’ve read on these forums." You already read this, but you need someone to restate it again so you can confirm that you read it?

Consider therapy because your anxiety is a bit of a mental health issue at this point.
hiv prevention is straightforward so you should move on or see a therapist.
Medical professionals take an abundance of caution.  You, out in the world won't be taking a risk if you use a condom and don't share needles to inject drugs.  It can be a bit confusing which is why we try to keep it simple so you can remember the risks going forward.  You won't get HIV from the way you describe. take care
