HIV Risk, very scared...!!

Hello Doctor,

First of all, i must say that i`m from Chile, and probably my english is not quite perfect.

Well, i`m writing here becouse I`m very scared about being infected by HIV...
i`ve had these risk situations (these are all of them):

1) At may 2009, I went to a sexworker, and she gave me oral sex with a condom.

2) At August 2009, another sexworker gave me oral sex with condom, and around 30 seconds I penetrated her with condom, and around other 30 seconds I penetrated her with one finger. My finger doesn`t have cuts or sores but I often bit my nails and therefore they are very short.

3) Around 3 weeks ago, another sexworker masturbated me hith her hand, and I think (maybe) my penis rubbed her vagina 10 seconds, without penetration but without condom...

In this period of time I have been very sick, i tested Epstein barr IGg positive and Igm negative...
I have not tested HIV becouse i`m too scared.

Well, I must also tell you that I`m circumcised, and I`m very young, I`m only 21, and (again) i`m really scared.

The question is... how risky are all these situations? and if they are "low risk", what does that exactly mean? can I continue with a normal sexual activity without performing an HIV test?

Thank you so much.

If your sex was protected with a condom, you should be fine. I doubt your illness is some sort of STD, but you should have yourself tested.

The HIV virus can only spred from blood to blood and through unprotected sex. Not from saliva, so you should be okay.

If your really worried about contracting HIV maybe a good option for you would be to stop having sexual intercourse with sex workers but if you continue. NEVER EVER HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX!

Hope i have giving some help.
