First time unprotected gay sex, please help

Hi, unfortunately I'm sure everyone's heard this story before. I met this guy on a dating app he is an athletic male in his 40. Seemed like a nice guy and had a very nice apartment and is a VP of a pretty big ad agency. I was drunk and went to his apartment, he didn't want to have sex at first and said we can just play around. Eventually as we were sleeping we started going at it and we ended up having sex.... he didn't use protection and to top it all off he came inside me, I know I'm a completeeeee idiot. I'm obviously deeply regretting what had happened that night. This was my first encounter with a man and I'm very scared that I might have HIV or another disease. Do you think I should be as worried as I am right now?? What do you think the best steps would be to take? Should I ask him straight up if he has been tested  for HIV and clean? He wants to meet up later in the week so I'm not positive if I should wait until then or text him right now.  Thanks in advance for your help.

To bottom is the highest sexual risk for HIV.
Most men who engage in this do not have HIV and if he did it does not guarantee this encounter would infect you.

Do you think I should be as worried as I am right now??
Not knowing his sexual history you should consider the risk you took and always use protection in the future.

What do you think the best steps would be to take?
If this is less than 72 hrs contact your Dr and discuss the use of pep.

Should I ask him straight up if he has been tested for HIV and clean?
You have every right and reason to ask about his status, his last risk, his last test and he should be willing to show it to you if he has been recently tested.

If its past 72 hrs, at the 4 week mark take a 4th generation test. This would be a very strong indication of your status.
A final 12 wk antibody test will support a previous conclusive negative.

Perhaps he'll test with you?
