CONCERNED

MY LAST TEST FOR HIV WAS BACK TWO YRS AGO AND THE RESULTS WERE NEGATIVE...BUT RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN HAVING DRY COUGH,NIGHT SWEATS.HEADACHE ,LIGHT FEVERS, WITH CONSTANT TRIPS TO THE BATHROOM WITH WATERY AND LOOSE STOOL AND MILD MUCSLE PAIN FOR THE PAST TWP WEEKS.  I GOT TESTED THIS PAST TUESDAY AND AM WAITING FOR MY TEST RESULTS. I AM CONCERNED IF I COULD BE INFECTED WITH HIV?

I have also read that you can transfer the virus by sitting on a toilet seat that an HIV+ person sat on, that doesnt make it true. Oral sex does not transfer the virus. If you have had unproteced sex with a partner of unknown status since your last test then yes by all means go get a test. But expect a negative result.

Your symptoms are meaningless when it comes to HIV and those symptoms occur in many illnesses to include the common cold.

i have had unprotectd sex since then but i have read where oral sex could pass along this virus as well?

Well have you had a possible HIV exposure in the last 2 years? And my possible exposure we mean unprotected anal or vaginal sex or IV drug use?

Condom protected sex and oral is not a risk so that doesnt count.

If you havent had a risk then youre negative result still holds true and your symptoms are from something else.
