Worried about "HIV like" symptoms

20 Days back, I (34 year old male) went to a massage parlor. After the massage, I wanted the masseuse to wash me. When "she" got into the shower (when some touching started) I suddenly realized that the masseuse was actually a transgender person, with breasts and a p*nis. Our bodies were touching and as I remember there was a lip to lip kiss which lasted a few seconds while I received a hand job. I felt that person's penis and out of curiosity rubbed it once. There was no other sex act like oral sex, just receiving the hand job. The person washed me, applied soap and washed.

The whole activity was a brain freeze. After coming to senses I realized the mistake I did. I could not sleep that night and kept reading about STDs. I was really worried, could not eat - lost appetite-for days.

I went to a Dermatologist who has indicated on their website that his interested areas include stds/venereology. After explaining the incident he explained me that the risk of HIV is low, as the incident involved only a kiss (in addition to the handjob) and as I was really worried advised me to do a HIV test in 3 months.

However, after a couple of days (I felt I was really anxious) I started feeling itching all over my body although there was no rash and itchy eyes (eyes were normal color) . I have also got some burning sensation and warmth in my penis tip and testicles. Met my urologist who told that I have got an infection and was  prescribed an antibiotic course. The burning sensation was reduced after few days.

Afterwards, there were a few pimple like (infected hair follicles) things appeared on my back. There were 5-8 new ones, I used to get the same things over the past few years.

However, two-three days before (16 days after the aforementioned incident) I felt a slight sore throat and got some flu like symptoms like runny nose and light cough and light headache. There was no fever, when i got temperature checked it was 36.4'C. By this afternoon, runny nose is almost stopped and light cough, light headache which i mostly feel like sinus pain and "chilly" feeling remain.

I read that certain symptoms are similar to HIV, but at the same time read that some are occurred due to anxiety/stress. I was extremely stressed over the last few weeks because of what I went through. To add to the above, I read that in certain countries higher percentage of transgender persons are HIV infected than others, which make me really worried.

I would be thankful if you kindly advise what should I do next

There is nothing in your story that is a risk for HIV. Everything you posted is no risk. Your dermatologist was incorrect because there was no risk.

In an adult, the only way you can get infected is by having unprotected anal/vaginal sex and sharing IV drug needles with infected users. Nothing else that you can possibly think of is a risk for HIV infection. And since you had no risk, obviously there is no reason to get tested for HIV.

For STD questions, post in the STD forum because this one only deals with HIV - which you don't have because you had no risk.
