Hiv1 not detected but cd4 count is 422
Hi before 14 days I had a protected sex with prostitute and I have sorethroat symptom.during the symptom i have given sample for hiv1 rna detection.And the result is not detected.But my worry is that my cd4 count is 422.is there any other reasons for low cd4 count I am having flu like symptoms from last one week.Please help me what to do further?

CD-4 test alone does not tell you anything about the infection. It is not a test recommended for primary screening.
You had protected sex and protection did not fail, therefore your risk never existed. Trust your test report and move on with your life. You do not have HIV. Ignore symptoms, they are often confusing and misleading.
