HIV combo tests

Hi!

I had unprotected sex 10 weeks ago.
My Neutrophils now are very low – 1,82 (37,9%) and lymphocytes at high level – 2,46 (51,1%).
I tested for HIV with 3 Combo tests:
28 days (4 weeks) – negative;
59 days (more than 8 weeks) – negative;
70 days (10 weeks) – negative.

But I'm still stressed out.
Please help!

The Drs who used to post here say a 4th generation test is conclusive at 28 days.
Also in their over 30 yrs of experience have not seen an 8 wk negative turn positive.
Other places around the world have shortened the window to 6 weeks based on the 4th generation test.
From aidsvancouver.org
"Your test results at 42 days and 64 days are an excellent indicator of your negative status. Point of Care (POC) test detects can detect up to 95% of the infections within 28-42 days and is conclusive at 86 days, whereas the DUO test is considered conclusive at 42 days by many HIV specialists."

Hope this helps you relax about your fear.
