Had you had a condom failure you would have posted it in your original post. That is not something you would have just happened to leave out.
Your negative duo test at 7.5 weeks is not likely to change at 3months.Its a good result.
Thank you, and what is the chance that my result will change after the 7.5 week duo test?
It doesn,t matter if you changed it once it broke. You had condom failure. You require testing 3months post Feb7th 2011.
For clearer understanding, this is the timeline.
7 Feb 2011 - condom broke situation
25 Feb 2011 - the situation with group oral sex
9 or 12 Mar 2011 - the symptoms starts to occur
28 Mar 2001 - negative result for HIV ag/ab test
(some of the symptoms still occurring at the moment (rashes and discomfort in belly)
thank you again
yes, but I change the condom right away.
Explain the situation, were you engaged in penerative sex at the time?
Sorry to bother you again, but may I add that 7.5 weeks before the test is also have a condom break situation (but I change the condom right away). Thank You again.
Thank you for you answers and your kind words, I am deeply appreciate for all of the responses.
You might want to test for other STD,s but not hiv, because the unprotected oral sex you engaged in was never a risk even if the provider had pre-cum in his mouth.Don,t stress anymore your fine.Stressing will only make you sick and encourage more symptoms.
Thanks again for all the answers, its been very helpful. Although, this may sound repetitive and annoying for you guys but I'm still concerned about my oral sex situation; is it possible that the person who had the oral sex before me is HIV positive and had left some pre-cum in the mouth of the guy who performed oral sex on me. Is this situation a possible route for hiv transmission. And could this mean my test result is conclusive despite all the occurring symptoms (I also forgot to mention about leg numbness and joint pain in the knee). And also, along with the HIV DUO test I also had a CBC count which also came back abnormal with high level of Neutrophil and slightly low total lymphocyte (at 1400 ul count).
Again, I'm very grateful to all the responses and sorry to annoy you with all the questions, I am literally going insane with the amount of stress for the last 6 weeks.
You never had an exposure. You used protection and oral sex is not a risk of HIV transmission.
Hiv is never diagnosed on the basis of symtoms alone, also many different infections and reactions cause similar types of symptoms not specific for hiv.Your symptoms are not related to hiv,but possibly stress.
thank you so much for your response, it was really fast and helpful. It really helps to have someone evaluate my risk. But to be frank, I still worries because of all the symptoms.
You never had a risk of hiv infection from your oral sex situation or your protected insertive anal sex, however you need to test for other STD,s but not hiv.Well done for using protection when engaging in anal sex.
