What that mean ...

my friend just tested for hiv..

genscreen ultra hiv ag/ab CMIA
(CO:0.289, absorbance:0.146) -
Nonreactive
- abbott architect hiv ag/ab combination
(CO:1.0, absorbance: 0.100) -
Nonreactive

But, the private lab (biomerieux) had
their result reactive with the following
figure.
- biomerieux (Vironostika) (CO:0.207,
absorbance:0.187) - Reactive

Reactive? or Non Reactive?
what is biomerieux metode? is that elisa?

Yes it is an ELISA and no it is not a reactive result. The cut off is 1.0 on an ELISA test.

Your 3 month post exposure test will be conclusive.
