first time to have unprotected sex...

Hi I'm 18 yrs old and I just had my first (stupid) unprotected receptive anal sex...
I just want to know if it's possible not to feel any symptoms of HIV or STD within a month after your last exposure to an unprotected receptive anal sex?
if so, what can be the early symptoms? I had my last exposure with my Ex-boyfriend last December 19, 2009 and after that I Didn't feel any fever, swollen lymph nodes, blisters, discharge or anything. it's just that a slight tingling effect after the exposure because there's a tear on my anus and after that it was gone and I'm feeling ok now...what do you think?
