HIV - ANY TEST TO THE THREE MONTHS IS CONCLUSIVE?

Hello, greetings to all.

I had a risky situation a few months ago. I did a test at 12 weeks, that is, at three months and this was negative.

I do not know if it was from the fourth generation or from what generation, it was done in the laboratory of my health service provider.

my question is, if it is conclusive very much in spite of not knowing the "generation" or if I should perform another test ?.

Thank you.

The 4th generation duo is conclusive at 28 days past exposure and all other HIV tests on the market are conclusive at 12 weeks post exposure. That means that, regardless of what test you were given, it's conclusive and you don't have HIV.
