i need help for my fear

Hi all health helpers ,

I have been so afraid of needles and hard stick ,such as pen , toothpick , everything with pin . I read somebody's post anything with hollow head will have pottential for hiv transmission as blood will stay there to be alive . When I think of this ,I will wake up middle night and can not sleep . I some times got stuck by toothpick ,but it with no hollow  So I am not that afraid of . BUT yesterday ,I got scratch or maybe stuck by a duck down ( feather ) I do not know how to discribe , When I sleep with a feather pillow in one hotel , a feather came out with its hard end , it is very very small pin in the end of the feather , I do not know if there is hollow in the end or not but this make me crazy . So can I ask very very small hollow like this , or small hollow pin .if somebody got stuck and this guy is HIV+ ,then I got stuck soon , am I become infected ??  I really need some professional iead . Pls kindly explian to me . Thank you !

hiv is not transmitted through environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.  once exposed to air, it becomes inactive and unable to infect.

Yes it is, it is very very irrational. Try posting in the anxiety forum.
