Wow!! Those are my last questions please someone answer
How reliable have you guys seen the rapid oral test to be? Any reason to believe that they are not that accurate in your findings on these forums
So we are super sure that hep a or b coinfection doesn't delay seroconversion?
No coinfection and delayed antibodies. I didn't take p24 I did rapid tests
A 10.4 week negative won't change at 12 weeks. You will receive another negative.
That was one case in millions and she had CHRONIC HCV.What has p24 antigen got to do with delayed antibody production anyway.
I thought these forums were for support and knowledge. Just wanted to know if 10.4 weeks was good that's all
Because the immune system fighting to build antibodies to both. Proven that hep c delays so why not a or b for that matter?
In reality antibodies will show up alot sooner that 3 Months and the experts know it,you know how ultra conservative guidelines are.Anyway,p24 antigen will certainly show up very early on and be detectable on a DUO test.HBV has nothing to do with HIV so how would it delay antibody production.
Teak I know you asked your I'd doc that 6 years ago but have you ever followed up with that question about coinfection after that. And is 10.4 weeks looking better than 8.5. No more crazy questions teak just those
FoR that matter how do the really know antibodies show up in a 3 month period. It's just probability
How could the possibly study that?
How does anyone really know if coinfection delays or not?
So if you got them at the same time your antibodies for HIV would still produce? I tested again on Tuesday at 10 weeks 4 days with a oral test. Still negative. But I'm showing signs of neuropthy now. I'm pretty sure that my intial sickness was hep because I had clay colored stools and nausea and vomiting and sore muscles for about a month. When I urinate now there is a lot of protien and I believe it is the HIV. But still I'm negative. My only real symptoms are numb on side of face week knees and burning hip and still after 8 weeks a low grade fever.
No it doesn't,they are 2 very different viruses.
