PrEP Side Effect?

I was prescribed PrEP by my doctor. I took 1 pill in the morning around 10AM. As the day continued, I started feeling a little uncomfortable. I felt a little sting by my testicles..then it got stronger and stronger. It was now 9PM and I felt like someone socked me in the testicles. I could not stand the pain, I took a bath, used a bag of ice and even popped a few Advils to get rid of the pain. I fell asleep and woke up with a little soreness but not the pain I had. I'm coming up on my 3rd day and I still feel a little pain. I have not taken any additional pills since that 1 pill I took. Is this normal?
