what is my risk?

Dear doctors....i am 28 years old an indian man living in south korea since 1 year. I visited a legal brothel month ago, where i did a dumb mistake that i never repeat again. I had unprotected sex with a SW which lasted not more than 30 second. I have not noticed any symptomps so far. It was my first sex of life. After that i have lots of tension and fear of getting hiv. I started searching internet and got more information on testing but i can't go for it. Getting tested for that kind of epidemic disease in private or public health centers is risky job in korea for a foreigner. Becauae the information may be leaked to govt office and deported home immediately.  Even i have very busy working life here and language problem. I tried more but could not find any anonymous testing centers. I cant go my home country  within next 2 years. So i am in big trouble now. I have not eat much, could not sleep and breath freely. I am always thinking to end my life. I have not any sence what to do. Sometime searching internet ease my mind bt sometime makes me more tough. So plz help me what is my risk of hiv from this expouser and what can i do from here??  Sorry, i am not good in english. Regards,

Be calm and find a way to test.No testing before 4 to 6 weeks is of any use.until then try and find a solution at Korea it self.don't look for symptoms on the net.U can always take leave and do ur tests either in Singapore or in India.Anonymous testing is available in Singapore. No difference in short or long duration.

Thank you so much. But practically it seems almost impossible to get such home kits for me and try for testing if possible. But one major query in my mind, Is not there any risk difference between very short duration and long duration of intercourse in a single expouser??

Unprotected anal or vaginal sex always puts us under HIV risk, regardless of its duration. Chances of contracting HIV from such a single incident are very low though, if we talk about statistics and numbers. However, having said that, HIV transmission is not a game of numbers and probabilities.

If your exposure is 3 months or older, get yourself tested anytime now to receive a conclusive report and move on with your life. Korea is a very much developed in medical support services, I am sure you will not find it difficult to locate a clinical laboratory. You can also try using home test kits, should be available from pharmacies in your area
