Hiv concern

Hi!i had protected sex with a woman that i met recently we used a condom but the condom broke we both felt it and we decided to stop...she assured me that she is fine...but am really worried!

One time Unprotected vaginal intercourse is low risk.. this is even less than one time cause you stopped once you realized that condome ruptured .. also usually people do not joke regarding hiv status and she seems to be careful person same like you .your risk is very very low but there is risk .. if you can both test now this will be good for both of you . You will need to take Ag/Ab test at 4 weeks or any other test at 12 weeks . Till that time try to be busy all the time and relax .

Unprotected intercourse is a risk, although a one-time event is extremely low risk.

If you are concerned, you can get tested using a 4th generation test (Ag/Ab test) any time 28 days after the event or later.
