You don't have an HIV concern. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex. Doesn't matter if you have a gum disease or not.
Those doctors are wrong--no risk--move on.
I only engaged in French kissing for about a half hour with the girl. NOTHING MORE. Why would an hiv doctor from UCSF say something like that. Why did I experience the intense ARS like symptoms.
Do I test for hiv? Why did the doctor "strongly urge" testing?
Could it be that I live in SF where hiv infection numbers are crazy high?
You never had a risk and don't need testing.
Is it safe to say my symptoms had nothing todo with ars or hiv?
Could you please supply some information about how saliva inhibits the virus. Also on how risk exposures are non existent from deep kissing. I have see you post scholarly journals from medical professionals in the past.
Thanks Teak

I won't write anymore after this. I did experience ars. I had the sore throat, stabbing leg pains and trunk rash. I have never had this combo of symptoms in my life. They all appeared 2 weeks post exposure.
They are not ars symptoms now move on.
You can't say it wasn't ars symptoms. When they match them spot on. The time frame was spot on too. I will try to work up the courage to test soon. I just have to mentally prepare for it.
Yes we can say they were not ARS symptoms as you never had a risk.
Vance you don't understand. I have actively bleeding gums. This is the way it was transmitted. My gums bleed very easily. It was after I came into contact with the virus through kissing that I got sick.
Kissing with blood present in the saliva has transmitted the virus in the past. The CDC even reports the risk. Thanks.

Wrong again, the saliva will destroy the HIV before it can enter your bloodstream via your bleeding gums.Enough now.
What's the risk from a puncture wound to the foot. The same night I didn't have shoes on and something stabbed me in the heal. Could it halve been a needle. It was dark out I couldn't see. Just remember my heal hurting bad.
If it were a needle would I truly have know. Would it have stayed stuck in my foot for me to have to remove it. Like I said it hurt bad. It was something sharp.
