Can I get HIV from using an infected persons toothbrush?

So about 2 weeks ago, I accidentally used someone else's toothbrush. I have suspicioun to believe that they are HIV positive. It wasn't until I actually finished brushing my teeth when I noticed it was not my tooth brush.

Now I don't remember there being any visable blood on the truth brush, but it's possible that they may have used the same toothbrush 2 hours prior to me. I'm scared that I may have contracted HIV in this manner, and my question is what is the likely hood of this? Because I've read hiv can live outside the body for more than 2 hours. Please, somebody answer my question as I'm very stressed out about this. Thank you.

As iampunitranjan told you, HIV is simply not transmitted this way. Once the virus is exposed to air and temperature changes, it is rendered inactive almost immediately.
Also, human saliva contains bacteria and enzyme's that also render the virus inactive.
You had zero chance of contracting HIV.

Thanks for your answer. But are you certain about this? Could you be more comprehensive? Its just that I have been told that this scenario was possible to contract HIV
No tooth brush cannot pass HIV. No such case has been reported and you wont be the first. Have a nice day
