How high is the probability of an infection?

Hello everybody,

About 18 hours ago, i had unsafe sex with a female prostitute which i got to know trough a club/bar here in Saigon, Vietnam. I was terribly(!) drunk, did not put a condom and she had absolutely no problem with it. That is also the reason why it is driving me absolutely nuts because if she had no problem with me wearing no condom, she probably had the same attitude with other men... or even worse; she already know she got something and therefore needs no protection!!!

- Firstly (to my luck?) i had unsafe "sex" with her at MOST for 30 seconds until i lost my erection due to my alcohol level. The rest of the time with her I just pleased her orally and with my fingers.

- Secondly i am circumcised which i know does not eliminate the possibility of a transmission, but reduces it significantly.

- And thirdly i do not even know if she does have anything - it is just a worry of mine but one which is driving me currently to the edge of my psychological stability!!!

How high is the probability that i now have HIV?

Please don't tell me how stupid i was as i already know it and feel very guilty and ashamed of myself. For anything factual about the transmission of the virus or an assessment of my situation, i would be very very very very thankful!

Thanks everybody very much in advance,
frecher

Then if you've read other threads then you have read HIV is not a guessing game and the only way to know your status is by testing.

Thank you for your fast response. I know and i will but since i can know it for sure only after 3 months, i have to get some subjective assessments of the likelihood in my case - else my worry drives me limbo. And also; isn't it true that it is actually possible to have sex with an infected person without getting yourself infected? From what i read in other threads, HIV is compared to the other STDs "very hard" to transmit.
