I am a familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) patient. 10 months ago, my rheumatology doctor gave intravenous cortisone and I used 1 box of prednol. I had HIV combo test last week. Will the cortisones I used 10 months ago affect the HIV combo test?

No, your cortisone shot 10 months ago will not affect an HIV test. What was the risk that made you do an HIV test?

My reason for getting tested is suspicious relationship. On the 50th day, I got a negative HIV combo result. just cortisone confused me.
I bought correction serum cortisone, but it does not affect the result, right?
What was the suspicious relationship and risk.
I had a connection with unprotected ecort. I had a combined test on day 50 and it was negative. I bought serum cortisone and 1 box of cortisone pills 10 months ago. Do cortisones affect test time? does it give wrong results please help
On the 53rd day after the test, sore throat, fever, flu, leg pain started, do I need to do the hiv combo again?
what do you mean 'connection'? Unprotected what?
No anal with prostitute without using condom
You are saying you had unprotected anal? Is that correct?
no condom with prostitute
no anal
I do not know why this is SO hard but did you have unprotected oral, vaginal or anal sex?
I did unprotected vaginal and did the HIV combo on day 50. Negative. then the symptoms started fever, sore throat, leg pain, cough I'm afraid cortisone serum and cortisone medication will affect the result
Do I need to redo the combo? Does it affect cortisone? symptoms started after combo
A combo test is conclusive after 4 weeks so you don't have hiv. hiv docs can't diagnose from symptoms and your situation is a classic example of why. It is time to move on from hiv fears. The cortisone would not affect the test, but next time you take any test and have questions about medication, ask the clinic or test manufacturer if your meds will affect the test results.
cortisones do not affect the combo and despite the symptoms my conclusion is absolutely correct. Did I understand correctly?

This has been a lot to get to the point of redirecting you to the original answer that has not changed. NO, cortisone does NOT affect your test. Your conclusively negative.
You have been told 3 times that it does not affect the test. It is time to move on instead of asking the same question over and over.
I don't know english sorry. thank you very much
