A confirmatory test at 12 weeks, (84 days) will give you a 100% conclusive result.
Your many other tests are very encouraging and it's EXTREMELY unlikely your results will change at 12 weeks........but only at 12 weeks can you be absolutely sure you are negative.
The experts who used to post here have never seen a negative blood test at 8 weeks turn positive. You had two 4th generation tests (40~64 days) making your last test 9 weeks into your window period.
You have every reason to relax and trust you'll be negative at 12 weeks.
Many hiv experts consider a 4th generation test 28 days and later conclusive. I'm no Dr so I'll suggest one final test at 12 weeks.
No need for continuing to over test.
Expect a negative at 12 weeks.
Hi ,
Like after 12 week which test I need to preform , western blot or pcr rna , or just another p24 combo to nail down my hiv negative status
Any rapid test will prove you are hiv negative at 12 wks.
You don't need to spend money on an expensive test.
To be 100% sure, could I go for pcr rna or western blot after 90 days.
A rapid blood test is fine. They are "very" sensitive and will be conclusive at 12 weeks.
If you can't trust that see your Dr and follow his advice.
Tested at 84 days HIV 1 & 2 ANTIBODIES, SERUM (ECLIA) HIV 1 / 2 & P 24 COMBO TEST (CMIA) -negative value (.369)
Result non reactive.
Am I safe ?????
