HIV risk

I had unprotected anal sex before 4 weeks. I know it was a mistake. I just got carried away at the moment. I have itching in my private parts, mouth ulcer, body pain as my symptoms. I took a 4th gen test today at 28 days and the result came Negative. Can I stay in peace once for all or should i wait for 6 weeks to take one more test as many websites suggest on internet. I am really worried and mentally depressed. I really don't want to go through the test process again. Pls tell me what should I do?

A 4 week test with a 4 gen is conclusive so there is no reason to take any more tests. See your doctor if you really think there are health problems but it isn't hiv.

Thank you. You reply makes me feel better. I was worried because my doctor asked me to take another test after two months and also because of the high risk nature of my exposure. I wish my test result was not a false negative.
There is no reason for him to tell you to test twice. You can't diagnose hiv from symptoms so you should stop worrying that they are pointing to hiv. You should stop examining your body and stop googling for hiv symptoms since it is a waste of time.
Thank you @AnxiousNoMore. I am much relieved now. My another worry is about false negative results. Do you think I shouldn't worry about it?
