02 May - took my fifth HIV 4th gen test and it came out negative, is it conclusive I'm quite paranoid

Your test result is conclusive and you can move on from this event. There is no chance that 5 4th-generation tests missed an HIV infection.

Why does my doctor suggest that I should get another test done in 3 months ?
If you google, you will find there is no consensus on when to test, because some people or organizations like your doc use testing protocols outdated 10 year ago, so you have to decide if you want to use that or the current advice given above.
