Is it possible for ARS rashes to show up nearly 10 months after sex

Hi,

I had a risky encounter with a prostitue where before I could put on the condom she started rubbing my penis on her vagina. There wasn't much penetration, and even that lasted not more than 10-15 seconds. Since then I have not had any 'risky' or unprotected sex with anyone. I am very sure about that.

Its been nearly 10 months since the incident and I noticed red spots on the chest this evening. Its a cluster of red spots on the chest. So I was wondering if they were in anyway linked to that incident in March. Haven't had any fever or anything like a sore throat or coughing and stuff either in the past week or since the evening when the spots showed up.

So is it possible for ARS rashes to show up nearly 10 months after the sex.

Symptoms of a true HIV infection would never show up this late after exposure. Many people who are exposed to HIV have no symptoms at all. And those who do have symptoms would show them within 2-4 weeks after exposure.

Clearly, given that you had no risk to begin with and the fact that your rashes are showing up far too late after you claim to have been exposed, obviously it's not related. Go see a dermatologist because they are the specialists who deal with skin disorders, instead of wasting so much time worrying about a disease you were not even exposed to in the first place.

The advice can't change from the last time you asked.
"I am generally a person who worries too much about little things" Your anxiety is a mental health issue that is causing 10 months of agony for no reason. See a therapist because no one here can provide the one on one that you need., Your mental illness can get worse if not attended to.

So does that mean that ARS rashes do not show up after 10 months and I am worrying over nothing? Please please provide a straight answer like - Ars doesn't show up after 10 months, instead of a neither here nor there response that doesn't help at all.
