Is there a risk from smelling blood?

Hey, firstoff I'd like to thank you for all your work, you make the world a better place!
I recently had protected sex with a woman, but she was on her period.
I smelled her panties some 12 hours later (there was blood on it)

So my questions:
1. Is there a difference in risk if I smelled it at the moment or 12 hours later?
2. Should I get tested?

No, there is no difference. Smelling can not transmit HIV.

Hello,
There is no risk of hiv transmission from smelling!
HIV can be transmitted via unprotected vaginal or/and anal penetration, sharing IV works in drugs and from mother to child.
Take care
