hiv test

I took a hiv test that came back negative on feb 24 from an exposure to hiv early week of feb. I wondering will taking another test soon say the same? So worried with body aches and i hope its not what i dont want it to be.

Hi, you had no risk whatsoever even if you had no gloves on. You took care of your father which is a very good thing and you have his blessings with you always. You were never at any risk and hence do not need any test.

My dad has hiv and i applied ointment on his scabs (wearing gloves) but i have eczema on my hands so i dont know if gloves could of had a rip and he was in the hospital week before he passed but i dont remember having any other exposure risk but the gloves.

In a real risk situation, minimum time for a Duo test to be considered conclusive, is 4 weeks after exposure. What was your exposure?
