March last year

Hi, i am a male 27 years old. In march last year i had unprotected sex with a woman aged 35 from england.

Since around 4 months after i have had slight discomfort in my armpits (no swelling or lumps it appears tho) as well as the past month or so having very red skinned hands. Do you think this could be caused by hiv or due to anxiety?

thanks

Fred

Factors...well does this women sleep around a lot? Does she use protection? What is the HIV rate in the area you are. When was her last test?

But as Lizzie has said the only way to know is to test and you can do it now for your conclusive result.

"uncomfortable armpits" at 4 months post exposure is NOT indicative of infection.

if someone shows ars symptoms...it comes 2-4 weeks after infection and lasts for 1-3 weeks.  swollen lymph nodes from infection do not hurt.

the ONLY way to know your status is by testing.  not much else we can tell you.

Can't really say. So many factors come into play when trying to access a risk like that.

We don't use numbers here. You can go into the experts forum and check out what the Dr's say, they have said it many many times so it is not hard to find.

Symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. Test now to know your status.
