Symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. Test now to know your status.
what is the ratio chance that i would have caught hiv from her vance? i read somewhere 1:1000 on average. is that correct?
We don't use numbers here. You can go into the experts forum and check out what the Dr's say, they have said it many many times so it is not hard to find.
would you say its highly unlikely to contract in a one of sex encounter tho?
Can't really say. So many factors come into play when trying to access a risk like that.
which factors would they be Vance?
thanks
"uncomfortable armpits" at 4 months post exposure is NOT indicative of infection.
if someone shows ars symptoms...it comes 2-4 weeks after infection and lasts for 1-3 weeks. swollen lymph nodes from infection do not hurt.
the ONLY way to know your status is by testing. not much else we can tell you.
ooops...that should be last for 1-2 weeks
Factors...well does this women sleep around a lot? Does she use protection? What is the HIV rate in the area you are. When was her last test?
But as Lizzie has said the only way to know is to test and you can do it now for your conclusive result.
