Metal scratch

I was at the state police station a couple of days ago,and was given a tag which i put at the helm of my shirt as against my breast pocket, just about 7-10 minutes after tagging it on i felt an itch on my arm and by trying to scratch it the pin-like metal hook on the tag gave me a long but shallow scratch on my right arm, though it didnt bleed but it has caused me a lot of SCARE because these tags are used randomly by the general public and who knows. This brings me to my questions.

1) If it has previously scratched someone who is HIV positive shortly before my incident would that be a RISK ?

2) How many minutes to be precise does the HIV virus stay alive on objects like that?

3) Are they able to maintain infectiousness in this case?

I trust your expertise to kindly explain and answer my questions. Thanks

I do apologise, Indeed that's correct, I did meant to state, it CANNOT replicate outside the body. It would be seconds rather than minutes, if at all it was the case and if so, it would not be deep enough to pose a risk.

Did you mean to say that HIV does not replicate outside of the body ? Check what you typed. You said it replicates outside the body. Secondly,  If there was HIV blood unknown to me, how long precisely would it be alive to maintain infectiousness?

HIV replicate outside the body. Once HIV is exposed to air it becomes unstable and not a risk. Then take in mind it was ONLY a scratch which again would not be a concern and more so, the odds there was any HIV blood on it are remote at best.

You have nothing to worry about at all.
