one encounter

Hi all,

Im from Netherlands. I had 3 days a go vaginal intercourse with a girl. It was 99% protected. I only put maby 5-6 times my penis in her unprotected. It was very short. I am also circumcised since my young age.

She say she has no hiv or stds.

1. I know it was stupid but whats the risk?

2. Is it in my advantage that it was very short and i am circumcised. Whats the risk

I am very worried.

Thanks all.

Guys/Girls,

Thanks i get the point of your both.
I think testing is ok, but more for the rest in my mind.

Maby my question was not right, sorry for the not so good english.

But if i believe the experts and the docs on this forum is it right:

1. One encounter vaginal hetero from woman to male is low risk (you cant call i one encounter its only a few secondes)

2. Circumcised is in advantage and lower the risk.

3. The chance by this one act in case of me is low risk.

4. Test for the future and peace in mind.

Are you agree?

Yes, but this would be an extremely low risk, and most people wouldn't even bother to test after such a brief encounter, unless you had reason to suspect the person is HIV+,
CurfewX thanks. I asked the Holland health for soa institute. They sah the follow. A hetero contact in Holland is already a low risk activity. In my situation it was very short without condom and im circumcised. The rjsk is even lower. They said test chlamydia and gonnorea and forget about hiv.

Agree with them?
I can only tell you what I would do, and I would NOT bother testing for HIV.
We are not hiv testing probability experts for all parts of the globe. It is up to you to determine whether to test. I would test because in future if I wanted to have unprotected with someone in a new relationship I would insist they test, so you might as well get your part over now.

Any unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal is a risk if the other person is positive. Most people are not positive, so it is best to think about that if you can while you wait to test. You can take a duo test after 4 weeks for a conclusive result or any kind of test after 3 months. Statistics are only useful for large numbers of people and you are only one so there isn't any way to know what your outcome will be for that short exposure.
