Risk assessment

Hello,
Yesterday, I engaged in anal sex with condom (top) to a male. I also received many bjs which is a no risk, I didn’t give bj to anyone.

According to the main post it says that the condoms break completely and no by micro holes. But I want to understand why the CDC estimates a 70% of effectiveness instead of the full protection. I am planning on testing at day 28 only for reassurance but I got a little worried when I saw that. I don’t remember (or think) that the condom failed.

It is ok to think that it was a no risk exposure? Or there is always some risk that I should verify by test. I want to continue my sex life with my girlfriend.

I’m also worried about the other stds but i will create a post in the other community.

Sorry if I said something incorrect. English is not my first language.

We don't work at the CDC so I don't know if anyone here knows why they say that. You might try calling them.
Since you read the main post you know the answer to your question is no risk, so there is no reason to wonder if you need to test.

Thank you. I am really scared and I feel guilty. It was a dumb idea what I did yesterday and I am expecting the worst.
I will try to relax since it is no risk.

I am originally from Brazil but I now live in Miami, so I am trying to think here in US most people is hiv negative and most of the hiv+ are under treatment. So in the case it was a true risk, it is still difficult to catch it since I don’t know the partner status, but it is most likely to be negative or under treatment.

Hope I’m right
