oraquick false negative?? please help me!

I took a oraquick quick test 6 weeks after exposure and I didnt know u wasnt suppose to eat 30 min before taking test I think I ate like 5 min before the test and I was wondering if that could give me a false negative and also will having any type of bacteria in your mouth affect the results like plaque or anything else please help me im going crazy over this

And also if myagia is a symptom of hiv how long does it last?

Not a symptoms. After about 1 week of ARS people will test positive,

Okay thanks for the advice but I have a couple more questions, is myagia, back and shoulder pain symptoms of early hiv infection and also I heard if a person is in ars stage they will test positive is that true?

At 3 months they are, but do have a higher false positive rate. And a blood based lab test is always the best test to take.

Read the directions, it tells you what not to do and how long not to do it. I believe there is a time limit on eating and/or drinking.

I thought a oraquick test was as accurate as a blood test but after this week I will test again because it will be eight weeks but if I was to test this week will my results change from the test i will take at eight weeks also do you know if eating before oraquick test affect the test accuracy I know it was at least five minutes before i took the test

6 week test is a good indication, have a regular blood test at 8 weeks.
