Potential risk cut on finger

Hi everyone.

Forgive me if this question is ridiculous, ill be the first to admit I'm a worrier, just looking for price of mind.

Recently went for a 1 hour hiv test at a hiv clinic were they took blood from a pin prick. it was negative :-)

On the way out I had to open the door lock for the door to open obviously using my hand with the recent pin prick. Since people before me would have had to do the same, they could have left some of there blood from the pin prick on the handle and then I've put my pin pick hand on the same handle. Could this be a possible way to transmit hiv?

Thanks in advance

You need to stop worrying! You can't get it that way because that is not how it is spread from person to person!

Ok, so even though some1 before me could have left blood on the handle, and then I've touched it with my finger... That has a pin prick cut on it, this can't spread hiv? Sorry for being ignorant, I just worry a lot

If HIV was that easy to spread then everyone would have it by now. HIV is not spread through doorknobs or any other surfaces or objects touched by other people.
