Had Protected Sex_Now Sore throat_little Fever_Is it HIV?

Hi Dr.
I had a protected sex with a sex worker on Sunday 10 Aug. I sucked her breasts. Now, since Monday, 11 Aug, I have a sore throat. This is the first time I have sore throat without actually getting cold - No running nose, No cough. Today, Aug 14,  the sore throat is worse.  Have fever too. Went to Dr. on Aug 12, and he gave me an injection. but I suppose, it's not working. I am taking antibiotics also. Gargling 3-4 times a day. Nothing works. I am not sure if condom busted, I did not check it after sex.
Now I am concerned, is it the symptoms of HIV infection? Now, it's more that 72 hours, I cannot even start PEP. And I read somewhere that to get a HIV test, you should wait for at least 3-4 weeks. I am scared, what to do?
I read a few more threads on this "Sore throat" but none of them actually posted the HIV results. Please help.

Hi Vance, I'd like to go for HIV testing. DO you know which test will help in detecting the virus at the earliest. I don't want to wait for 3-4 weeks. I am very worried.

When you pull the penis out of the woman and take off the condom it is not easy to take off as it is broken and your penis is exposed. Your condom was not broken.

How would anyone know what one person would do...impossible to answer.

Hi Vance, I didn't see it, but I just didn't check it. Do the sex worker use any sort of chemicals on their body, and maybe because of those chemicals, I got sore throat. as I see many people saying the same thing of having sex and getting sore throat. I know, the forum is not the right place to ask this question, but I was just thinking if anyone did any research on  this?

You were told why because you had no HIV risk. If the condom was broken you would see it.

Could you please explain why my symptoms are not HIV related, It'll help me. I am not sure if the condom was still intact after the sex, I didn't check it. Next is - what to do if I get HIV? what is the cure? Will it just finally kill me? PEP is not effective as it's more than 72 hours. What would I do if I get the infection?

You symptoms are not HIV related as you never had any exposure. The risk is unprotected insertive vaginal or anal sex.
