Its been a big concern of mine.

Im a 19 yr old girl from Florida. Ive had unprotected sex with old boyfriends (always long-term), which most have cheated.. and Ive had like one 1 night stand. I was tested for HIV about 8 months ago, and it came out negative. and lately, being in a health school Ive been paying alot of attention to my body. Not to long ago we were going through the lymphatic system and went over lymph nodes and how if swollen, they could be a symptom to HIV. and as I went to feel mine, out of curiosity, they felt.. well.. swollen. I have friends and family feel them for me, but they never find anything wrong with them. I looked online for pictures of regular sized lymph nodes and swollen, but the pictures dont help much. they arent visible. you would need to palpate them to feel them, they feel pretty fat and lumpy. I also noticed my white tongue. but Im a habitual smoker, and I know that with a inflammed papillae or whatever its called on my tongue it leaves a white coating. and its not painful or hairy, or any of that. so Im sure its not Thrush. as for fever and fatigue. Fever not at all, and fatigue; just the general tiredness of school and work, but sometimes washing my hair and having my arms up for too long can make my muscles feel weak. so that kinda scares me. and I might have vaginal thrush which I heard is also from a weakened immune system.
What are your opinions.

having unprotected sex puts you at risk of contracting not only hiv, but other stds as well.  a test 3 months post your last exposure will give you a conclusive test result.

i'd suggest you have a full std panel done also...the pelvic pain could be a result of a std.

until you are in a monogamous relationship where both of you have tested together...please use condoms.  sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME.

I know, and I regret being so irresponsible. I set up an appoitment for a test and most likely will set one for 3 months from now. I just pray to God that Im negative and I can start over. Im only 19 and Ive gone through so much already. I dont know if I could handle something else.
