Short receptive unprotected anal, outside ejaculation - slightly irrational worry?

I had sex this morning with someone I met out. I asked for his STD status and he said he was absolutely clean. I did not want to do any anal without a condom but I was not as careful as I should have been and it happened anyway for probably less than a minute. He pulled out and ejaculated outside of me.

We ate breakfast together, I met his friends, and he gave me his number, so I don't feel sketchy about him or feel he was lying to me, but I know that people lie or can be unaware. I have sex very rarely and am insistent on condoms and I just had a lapse in judgement this time. I am from the USA but I just moved to Germany and am insured here, but I am unsure about the health insurance process here and if I would have to pay for PEP should I want to get it (no way I could pay for it myself). I don't know if I'm freaking myself out because if he is indeed negative I am essentially worrying about nothing. As I write this, it has been 10 hours since we had sex. And of course pandering on the internet is not helping me either. Would appreciate an informed opinion, thanks in advance!

let me not scare you either.
you put your self at risk.. you have 72 hrs. from exposure.... get ID doctor immediately or go to ER so they know the urgency. Also, meet with Infectious Dieses specialist ONLY and not anyone else... you need to take it seriously and go from there.....
.... put it this way. you took one chance, do you want to do it again ?

Always use condom for any type of sex.
Condom is cheap.
Talk with that boy and have an hiv test.
Go to near by hospital talk with the specialist ASAP.
Taking PEP ASAP is very important.

Let me not scare you.

You did put your self at high risk for HIV, receptive anal sex carries the most risk for acquiring HIV. It doesnt matter for how long it was.

Now coming to ur question, taking PEP within 72 hours helps as per Medicak theory, but the sooner the better.

If I was in your position, I would ask the guy to get tested immediately, even if he tests negative, he could be in the window period. Consult an ID specialist immediately and seek his advice.
