I have been told by DR H that my risk is so low that there is no reason for testing and I agree with him. But this is a question in general. I woke yesterday 13 days post possible exposure with a bit of a sore throat. I woke again this morning with a bit of a sore throat but as the day progressed my sore throat has become a little worse. I would not say that it is bad it is a little sore to swallow thats all, a little irritated. As today progressed I have a tiny bit of a runny nose and a bit of a flemmy cough. I in no way have a fever a rash or anything like that so I am not saying this ARS related as I do not think that it is due to my whole family having the flu at the moment BUT when you look at HIV's early symptoms you always seem to come across flu like symptoms. What does this mean exactly?
A flu can be many things from runny nose a chesty cough, dry cough. sore throat, sinus congestion I mean honestly the list could go on and I am sure you get what I mean.
So when they say flu like symptoms what are they talking about are they saying all those things that I have mentioned are ARS?
I have read and please correct me if I am wrong that in generall when someone goes through ARS they will have more then one symptom if they have symptoms i.e. sore throat and fever, rash and fever or a combination of the three and obviously there are more out there.
