HIV testing question

Hi,
Just over 11 weeks ago I had insetive vaginal sex in Thailand with a massage girl, but the condom broke half way through. I pulled out for some reason and noticed it so the exposure could have been anything from a few seconds to a few minutes.

In my panic I went to the hospital and was prescribed PEP (Truvada and Edurant) which i started after about 13 hours. I also accidentally took a double dose at this time.

Half way through my PEP I discovered, without doubt that the girl had tested negative with finger-prick test five days afters our encounter. I decided to complete the course of PEP because I was already half way through, was tolerating it well, and thought it would ease my anxieties later on.

Exactly 29 days after finishing PEP, I took a laboratory 4th Generation test which came back negative.

It is now 38 days after finishing PEP and I haven't had any symptoms

I hear so may people saying 28 days is definitive, many saying not, and also don't know if duo testing 29 days after PEP is different

My questions are:
1) If by some chance the massage girl became infected just before our encounter would she be highly infectious
1) Is my test proof without that I don't have HIV?
2) Should I test further and if so when?

Thanks in advance

If you were really infected, your test would've picked it up.

Thanks for your reply James. Is this new? A lot of other people saying that you still have to test out to 3 months - is this about to change?
Just noticed this:

which supports what you are saying but this is still only draft.
Sorry about the questions your time is VERY appreciated as I am very anxious like everyone in my situation

Hi,
Sorry to post again I am now at 8 weeks post PEP. Why are you saying that I do not need to test again? Is the duo test 29 days after PEP that reliable?

I do hope you are right. Thanks for helping to ease my fears - I am currently planning to test at 8 weeks to be sure but the thought scares me to death but would hate to put my wife at any risk

Thanks vm for your reply, I have been very anxious - the 29 day test scared me to death. Are you saying that nobody has ever duo-tested negative after 29 days post-PEP and gone on to be positive?
