I don't know of any person that has had "TRUE" PN in primary HIV infection. Those that do have PN are people that have been on HAART for several years and it is drug induced.

Sorry for sounding stupid ...But what does CNS stand for ?

Only a Neurologist can diagnose PN. With the anxiety the CNS becomes pretty wired. It's NOT HIV.

Just an informative question ?

I've read that some people do experience PN with ARS, but it is very rare !!  So if some-one did experience it, would it subside with all the other symptoms (eg: after 1 or 2 weeks) or would it be an ongoing thing for the duration of your life (So too speak).

I do know other things cause PN...and that its also mainly due to late HIV infection and HIV drugs !!!

But I just wanted to know if you have any knowledge of it with early HIV infection ?

Thanks

PN is not an ARS symptom and you don't have HIV. That's how I know.

See a doctor if you think you have PN. You don't have it because of HIV.
